Hi Matt,

Tried to leave a comment of less than 2,300 characters but was denied. What's the character limit, or am I doing something wrong?

There's no limit to my knowledge. All comments are moderated, though, and do not appear until I approve them. That may have been the issue.

Matt,

The reason I wrote the above is, when I pressed the Published button a strange message came up which said "Gmail error, too long" (or something like that). Later, when I stopped back, I saw the comment published. I'm familiar with comments needing to be approved on some sites by the host, but I had never come across that type of message before, which seemed generated by the server, not the blogger. It took up the entire screen and said nothing about the comment needing to be approved. So, still puzzling over this. Anyway, thanks for posting my comment. I'm still chewing on your response about the body and being. My sense is that we have different definitions for being.

Cordially,

Dan

Hi Dan,

Never heard of that problem before. Glad you're able to post now, though. I look forward to your future comments.
