The task of the preacher is to proclaim the glory of the triune God, revealed in the cross of Christ and experienced in the communion of the Spirit, such that the Church gains an ever-enlarging vision of the trustworthiness of God, in order to foster a constant increase of confidence among the people of God, which results in obedience that transforms the world and fills the earth with the glory of God as the waters cover the sea.

Is this yours or a quote from someone else? In any event, I like it. Well-crafted. Triune. God-focused. Includes the call to faith and obedience. The only missing element is the source of our knowledge of God's glory in Christ: Scripture. Might be implied.
It's mine. Thanks for your kind words. I chose the picture to suggest scripture as the authoritative source of God's glory in Christ. I thought adding anything else might make the sentence more cumbersome than it already is.
